Comply with the GDPR
Share information securely without breaching the GDPR regulations. Our products are routinely assessed by GDPR specialists to ensure full compliance.
Empower victims and vulnerable people
Simple referral forms and a ‘one front door’ approach, empower victims and vulnerable people who would not usually report to the police.
Restrict access to your own region
Rather than share information at a national level, your data is locked down to your own region or organisation. The records you hold on your own clients will not be accessible nationally.
Remove licence fees
As a not-for-profit, we’re working for the greater good. For that reason, all of our products are offered without restrictive user licences.
Harness innovative tools
A range of built-in tools help you to tailor E-CINS around your needs. These include live online meetings, risk assessments and encrypted public-facing forms.
No software to install
E-CINS and E-CINS Solo are both web-based applications, so they can be accessed remotely and there’s no software to install.
Build your own scoring and non-scoring risk assessments.
E-CINS practitioners can build their own scoring and non-scoring risk assessments, add their own questions from a predefined list, compare them with previous assessments and work with them remotely on mobile devices. When an assessment is completed, it produces a score which can be manually overridden so you can control the category of priority an individual is given.
Compare scores and reassess later
All risk assessments can be stored and reassessed later, which saves a great deal of time as the fields will be pre-populated. You can also compare scores and priority needs with previous assessments.
With so much at stake, there really is no place for those withholding important information.
By giving all local professionals access to a collaborative network, everyone is better placed to address the needs of the vulnerable people they’re connected with. When partners work together, they can build a more comprehensive picture of an individual’s situation and ultimately improve outcomes.
Data Visualisation and Business Intelligence
Create detailed custom reports and assess outcomes against set KPIs.
E-CINS Solo can generate graphical performance reports from various data fields and the results can be saved for re-use so you can produce them again and again. This enables you to benchmark your performance and assess outcomes.
As part of our continuous development of the system if the type of report or the fields users need to be generated from E-CINS are not currently available we will endeavour to get them added for you at no additional cost.
E-CINS Solo is essentially a localised version of E-CINS. So rather share your information with a national database, you’ll maintain your own locked down set of data.
We’re continually improving our products at no extra cost to our clients.
All of our products have been designed, developed and deployed using a ‘continuous improvement’ methodology. This means that you’ll receive updates at no additional cost.
Years of experience
Tried and tested
The type of information sharing [provided by Empowering-Communities’ products] allows us to anticipate an offenders likely behaviour in custody and also enables our Offender Supervisors to identify programmes and courses that need to be undertaken in custody which are designed to lower an offenders risk of re-offending.
RICHARD BELL AND SENIOR OFFICER JOHN WOOD / HMP STAFFORD’S RESETTLEMENT OFFICERS
There are some vulnerable groups who need additional support to help them manage the conversion to Universal Credit. This new way of working is a fantastic step forwards and will save both practitioners and residents a great deal of time.
COUNCILLOR SARAH RUSSELL / DERBY CITY COUNCIL
An offender was being released from prison and my team had concerns that the offender would try to make contact with the victim, potentially affecting their safety. A PCSO made a note on E-CINS that the offender was due to be leaving prison within the next few days. We would not normally be privy to that information, but because it was flagged on the Victim’s profile, we were able to quickly contact the victim and hold a face to face meeting to assess the level of risk to them.
